Executive Branch (Article II)

Constitutional Connection:
Article II, Section 2: "He shall have power, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to make treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, shall appoint ambassadors, other public ministers and consuls, judges of the Supreme Court, and all other officers of the United States, whose appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by law..."

Analysis of the Connection:
The Constitution states that the President of the United States can make decisions, like treaties, but with help from the Senate. Some people will say what is the point pf having a president if he cant make the important decisions. I believe that the president should not have all the power of the United States. That is too much power for anyone to have. President Obama may have some strong feeling about a particular situation and would like to do something about it. He would have been able to do something outrageous if he had all the power of the United States.
